It is becoming easier all the time to keep your name on the internet and to find your tribe while using social media to network. And, in your business I hope you are using Facebook! And if you are, are you engaging with your friends and new friends in a way where they want to get to know you better?
In our networking attempts sometimes we find our personalities really click or sometimes we don’t..Some folks, no matter what, is ridiculously funny and can find No humor.. Oh well… next…. there’s millions using facebook everyday and you will find those that love you, like you and want to stay as long as you make it interesting for them to stick around.

Facebook around the world continues to gain ground as a Social Media Networking site. It is an easy way to engage with people and find out what they like and what they like to eat, drink, and where they like to go, etc.
Even “late nighters” on television, thinking about Jay Leno, how he gets in on the action with making jokes of how we engage on Facebook, and how we are always changing our profile pictures. Guilty of that and will continue to do it, often.
He has this skit about how the most annoying “10 things on Facebook” will get you befriended or deleted. Originally I had x-friended and I don’t know if that’s a word, but when it’s your blog write what makes you feel comfortable… hey, it is social media networking..
So, as we continue to bring down Countries and lift up Super Stars with social media, it is “Christmas Time in the City” and we will network all thru the Seasons.
I like Twitter and in the beginning 2009, I spent alot of time there. Haha, I even found the tricks and tips to get over 19,000 peeps to follow me, but I admit I stop using it as much and found over the last 16 months that Facebook had more value for me to use.
Social Media Networking on facebook is like hanging out in different dorm rooms. There are the smart geeks and then you have the funny folks that crack me up. And, if you want to learn how to cook you’ll find cooking groups, lose weight groups are popping up more and more or if you want to learn more about blogging then you have your blogging people. It’s a menu and A GROUP everything under the sun, moon, stars and your own roof.

Social Media Networking On Facebook
The communications are in the Facebook family. Anytime is good, 24/7, day or night and around the world. I have met some fantastic people on Facebook from the Phillipines, Australia, and Switzerland, the land, one set of my great grandparents originally migrated from.
What’s really interesting is finding old friends and friends of family that you haven’t heard from in awhile. For instance, when I lived in Hawaii my brother came to visit me twice for a week or two at a time. Each time he came he would bring a friend. To my surprise one of his friends, Sharon contacted me here and she was still excited to share how much her time at my house and around me made her feel and she remembered the feeling and posted our photographs from HAWAII.
It’s the same here in Social Media Networking sights people will remember how you make them feel. They will always associate you with a feeling or an emotion and if you get to meet them, then have a photo session and share your photos on Facebook.
Most recent, a dear friend, Mel, whom I haven’t heard from in 16 years contacted me in Facebook. We had both moved in different directions and lost touch. The same emotional thoughts comes thru and that was our relationship “How we made each other feel being around one another”. You never forget How people make you feel.
Social Media Networking can be a great experience and I suggest give it more time and get to know people.
If you want deeper relationships with them on the network sights you have to take time to get to know them. Here’s a little tip, spend time on their wall, and if you like their posts they will see you are now engaging with them. Remove your fear and really try to get to know them.
They will either engage more with you or in some instances they will ignore you because maybe they think your going to take their business from them.. Haha.. it’s just the way it is.. or maybe you will find you have some things in common. Personalities come across in different ways thru typing.

Google and Now Phone Lines for Gmail
Google What Are You Planning?
Google wants you to imagine your Gmail being the communication center destined for your phones.
The future is here again, catch the new electric wave to call your friends, family while on the internet!
Google has released a new feature where now, you can call landlines and cell phones in the United States and Canada. You will have to install the company’s voice and video plug-in. Oh, and if you are calling other Countries I think they will charge you a couple of cents, but do your home work first, if you call abroad alot.
Google likes Change
One thing for sure, “Nothing really stays the same, in our future we are developing new ways to communicate every few months,” and Google is on top of the game.

Google said they had been testing this feature internally for a while and gave an example How to use it. For instance, if you need to make a quick call to a restaurant or what if a place had bad reception then you could use gmail for the call. In rural places their cell phones are sometimes down because there’s no mobile signal available on their property. I am guessing most folks will opt to chat now and not wait any longer after experiencing delays. Thank you may be in order and you could google that.
How about this thought; now your relationship with your Gmail account is much more important than your cell phone? You could turn off your cell phone but when you are on the computer it will be hard to ignore the green light blinking “Call phone” icon that sits on top of your contact list. It is like someone on Facebook and suddenly they want to chat with you. Do you answer or ignore it, the green dot? Since, Google has added this feature with Gmail we will now be more dependent to use it in the future and log into these accounts in our everyday life. Google anounced another enhancement to Gmail and it’s called Priority Inbox. It is suppose to filter messages from addresses it deems more important than others into a special box. This feature is still in beta testing so be patient as the try to catch up.
With technology on the fast track and the bunny on batteries that never end, we in the United States have a strong presence to race to the next business strategies for our social media businesses to succeed. But, the real quest for all business owners is to dramatically improve customer service, so with this new device we will have to wait and see how it goes over. We love to consume and are driven to find the next technical thrill and it seems that the big giants are quick to implement their strategies and make it work for them.
